Dude fix this broken app. No one should buy this app. It only get about 30% of the text under perfect conditions. The other good reviews are from iPhone users. It is broken on the IPad.

The app can recognize most of the words, but I still need to go back to correct some of them. Its just weird that I have already chosen " English" as the language, but it still recognized "fl" as an alphabet instead do "f" & "l" as two alphabets.

Dont buy it!

As a teacher, I use it to convert examples from PDF files into word documents so I can then modify the questions to suit my needs and the needs of my students. Saves me the hassle of retyping long passages.

Im surprised by how good this app is. Its very simple and looks good with the iOS, and this really helps me with taking notes in class. For this price I would recommend it!

Not bad but need to select area to recognize! OCR is good & reason for a 4 rating. But app needs improvement such as select area to OCR & & add spell check for text with spell check also for selected text! ריאה

This app is seriously lacking in what it can do compared to what it says it can. Clear PDF turns out as gibberish. Blah!

Horrible. So mad I spent 3$ on this awful app.

I wanted to convert pages from research into pics that I could get the text from. Terrible results. Pic can be perfect and I get gibberish.

I had handwritten information and it couldnt convert it at all other than gibberish.

Dont buy it; it doesnt work properly!!!

Not so good

Dont buy this app. Its a waste of your money, and you have been warned. It feeds out random numbers and letters with even the clearest and largest of words.

Well, for the same purposes of this app, you do better download the free or premium versions of the app Scan&Translate.

It converted an image to text rather quickly and very accurately with only one mistake for a book page. Problem was in the editing. I wanted to remove some erroneous spacing. The act was painfully slow. It wouldve been faster to copy the text and edit it elsewhere. This seems more like a bug than a design issue. Look forward to future versions!

It wont work if the text has lines

May not be perfect in all formats, but with most it makes the process of turning a printed document into a workable document very easy.

One word is wrong each line.

Good enough for my purposes. For the price the app delivered what I was expecting. I like the features and if used carefully can save time. If you are looking to copy all of Shakespeare I would think twice but if you want to take the jist of a document then this will do. Works off text on a computer screen also.

I have an extremely bad reading disability. So needless to say whenever my boss hands me something that I need to "look over", I begin to sweat. This app is helpful in that it can turn the words on a page into a text that my phone can read aloud to me. I have to play around with it a little for this purpose but its good enough.
