At first I thought it was poor with photos of text, but after working with it a bit I was able to get very good results. Be sure the contrast is good, that there are a fair number of pixels per character frame, and the copy is fairly flat.

If the copy is curved adjust the corners of the text frame, the app will then have an idea how how to compensate for the curvature.

My only request would be for sticky langage specification - I get tired of respecifying the language every time I enter the app. I often work with Spanish.

I have never used the internal edit, So I cant comment on that.
